Welcome to Rosemont’s Brand New Health Science Academy!

For the 26-27 school year, we are launching a new CTE pathway exploratory course called “Rosemont Health Science Academy.” This is a semester course designed to introduce students to various health and medical related fields. This doubles as an introductory pathway to CVHS’s Science and Medicine Academy. Students will work through 4-6 modules in a semester. The module topics are as follows:

Intro to Health Science
Criminalistics
Emergency Medical Tech
Pharmacology
Mental Health
Sports Medicine
Nursing
Veterinary Medicine
Biomedical Engineering
Lifietime Nutrition and Wellness
Dentistry
Therapuetic Services
Medical Imaging
Biomedical R&D
Clinical Lab Practices

This year we are offering two periods per semester. We hope to add more periods in the coming years. The course is being facilitated by veteran science teacher and Science Department Chair, Ms. McMillin.
