Principal's Message

Principal RisseWelcome to Rosemont Middle School!

Honor, Excellence, and Pride

Hello Spartan Families,

Welcome back to school! We are excited to begin the 2024-2025 school year as we welcome our incoming 7th graders, returning 8th graders and students new to Rosemont. Rosemont has received numerous awards and accolades over the years, but our greatest source of pride is our strong teaching and support staff. As a school community, our priority is students’ social and emotional well-being and academic progress.

This year our theme is “Be Present.” We will be placing great focus on attendance in order to ensure that all students come to school daily, engage in learning and achieve academic and personal success. We are asking our parents and guardians to join us in this effort as the consequences of poor attendance and chronic absenteeism are serious and can affect the opportunities students have in high school and beyond.

Classes begin on Wednesday, August 21 at 9:28 am as it is a Banking Day. Daily schedule M, T, Th and F is 8:30 am - 3:10 pm and 9:28 am - 3:10 pm every Wednesday.

Your student's schedule is available on Q parent portal and Q student portal beginning August 14 at 4:00 pm.

All students arrive through the front gate on Rosemont Avenue or the back gate on Raymond Avenue between 8:15 am - 8:30 am. Students who arrive after the 8:30 am bell will be considered late. Dismissal will be from the front and back entrances as well.

Snack and lunch will be offered daily at no charge. Additional items such as bottled water, cookies or a second serving may be purchased. Food deliveries are not allowed.

Check your email for our electronic newsletter which is sent every Sunday evening with regular announcements, news and information.

Here’s to another great year!

Sincerely,
Principal Suzanne Risse
